TKD Achievements
My biggest achievement so far has been helping my children progress through the gradings, with my son gaining his 1st Dan in 2010.

I started training in 1997 and progressed to Red Stripe before taking some time away due to work and family commitments. I started again with Sutton TKD with my children and have progressed to 1St Dan since. I really enjoy the training and always give as much effort as possible during the lessons. I particularly like sparring with some of the other black belts and enjoy the competitiveness . I believe I have made some good friends at Sutton TKD.

I love when the lower grades ask for help, whether with patterns or sparring techniques, and being able to give advice is very satisfying. I think this attitude helped me being awarded the Best Black Belt 2010 award, which was a real surprise.

Future Aspirations
I aim to become a 2nd Dan in the next year – if my dodgy back allows.
I look forward to help guide my daughter to her 1st Dan in 2012.
I would like to go into instructing, even if just on an informal basis in the class.
