Black Belt Profiles

Name: Jack Newit

Current Grade: 1st Dan (December 2011)

Training Clubs:

Streetly – Walmley – Four Oaks -
Loughborough University

TKD Achievements:

Seminars with:  Scott Adkins (Kicking Power),
Master Willy Lim (Applications of Patterns),
Master Tony Sewell  (Sparring Master class).

Since starting Tae Kwon-Do in September 2007 I have enjoyed competing in tournaments every year; below are the medals and trophies I have achieved as a colour belt.

Future Goals:

In 2012, I plan to continue training between Sutton Schools of Tae Kwon-
Do and Loughborough University Students Tae Kwon-Do.

I am going to run for Chairman of LSUTKD which will keep me constantly involved in organising and taking part in events while at university.

I am looking forward to the Sutton TKD Summer Camp as they get better and better every year and are a great chance to train and unwind with everyone from the home clubs.

To continue my development in the sport I am going to attend the GTUK Instructor Courses A and B and compete as much as possible as a black belt. Hopefully this will keep me in good form for the 2nd Dan in December 2013 and the possibility of being an instructor myself in years to come.
